When should I use BeeElixir®?

BeeElixir® can be used anytime during the season. It's particularly beneficial during dry or wet weather, spring, fall, winter, and splits. It also supports your bees during nectar or pollen shortages and helps build up reserves after summer harvest.

How do I prepare and use BeeElixir®?

BeeElixir® contains approximately 70% sugars and should be diluted according to the seasonal needs of the colony:

Spring incentive feeding: mix 1 part BeeElixir® with 3 parts water.
Shortage compensation: mix 1 part BeeElixir® with 2 parts water.
Support in drought periods: mix 1 part BeeElixir® with 3 parts water.
Queen breeding: mix 1 part BeeElixir® with 1 part water.
Winter feeding: feed pure BeeElixir®.

What is the difference between BeeElixir and BeeStrong?

BeeStrong is a protein-based supplemental feed, specific for brood problems and to promote healthy brood. BeeElixir is a "whole food" where nothing needs to be added and can be fed year round if necessary and is especially good as a winter feed after the last honey harvest.

How do I feed my bees with BeeElixir?

BeeElixir is a complete feed for the bees and therefore does not have to be mixed with a sugar syrup first. BeeElixir can be diluted with water as needed.

When to feed BeeStrong and when BeeElixir?

We recommend feeding one portion of our BeeStrong in spring to strengthen your colonies and prevent brood problems. After that, you can continue feeding with BeeElixir if necessary. Our BeeElixir is ideally suited for overcoming nectar scarcities and for feeding after the last honey harvest. To promote fat body development, you can feed one portion of our BeeStrong in late summer.

Can BeeElixir and BeeStrong be mixed?

BeeStrong and BeeElixir should not be mixed.
